Keith Bush

Following a successful career in the finance industry for 25 years I transferred my skills-set into the field of education for a Local Authority where, for 10 years, I predominantly provided advice and guidance to governors around sustainable school improvement.  I have over 20 years' experience as a primary school governor and have been on the Board at Castle Cary for 6 years, having held the position of Chair for 4 years.  I am passionate about the provision of an all-encompassing inspiring education in and out of the classroom, starting from a young age.  I take all my governance responsibilities seriously and I am particularly interested in well-being.  I am the named governor for Safeguarding.  My interests outside of my work as an exam invigilator include most sports (spectator rather than participant!) and I enjoy gardening and walking the footpaths of Somerset and Wiltshire.
